RAYCHEM-TE
TE Connectivity’s (TE) Raychem products are a synonym for reliability in extreme environment and conditions. Since the foundation of TE’s Raychem over 60 years ago, as the first company developing products using a new scientific area called “radiation chemistry”, this family of products is the leader in material science, engineering, and production. The founder, electric engineer Paul Cook, discovered that the process of cross-connecting enabled heating, spreading and cooling of material followed by re-heating to the initial size for more insulation and protection. As the result, thermal insulation pipes were introduced. Many Raychem products have been functioning reliably in their areas of application for more than 30 years.
